Richmond Christian School admits students of any race, color, national
and ethnic origin to all privileges, programs and activities made available to
students at the school. It does not discriminate on the basis of color or
national and ethnic origin in the administered programs. RCS is an independent,
fully-accredited, board governed Christian school in the Baptist tradition of
the historic Christian faith. Therefore, RCS does reserve the right to refuse
admission to any student whose parents are not in complete agreement, who
espouse doctrines inconsistent with our statement of faith, or withholds
information. Substantial disagreement with school policies or philosophy is
sufficient reason for dismissal of a student after enrollment. Please review the RCS Parent and Student Handbook from
the documents section of our website.
Kindergarten children must be five years old by September 30 and children
entering first grade must be six years old by September 30. Kindergarten and
first grade students must have a completed Physical Examination and Immunization
certification (furnished by the school) along with a copy of the birth certificate as part of their application. Students may be given entrance tests before they
are accepted if the school deems it necessary.
Re-enrollment: Each student's status will be reviewed yearly, and the
student will be reenrolled on the basis of academic programs and disciplinary
record.
